Chanteur Rockabilly US né Cole Ghoens, en 1937 à Hartsville (Caroline du Sud). Sammy Gowans a été produit à Hollywood par Jack Lewis pour RCA Records, mais c'est finalement chez United Artists que sortira son single en 1958. Il enregistrera encore un single sous le nom de Danny Denver pour Chancellor Country Records. Il est décédé en 2003.
