US né John Remie Janot, le 14 septembre 1933
à Eunice (Louisiane). Après des débuts radio à Eunice en 1955, il enregistre chez Goldband Records de Lake Charles (Louisiane). Il passe ensuite chez Jay Miller où il enregistre de superbes Rockabillies. Après ces réussites confidentielles, il devient Disc-Jockey à Lake Charles et poursuivit jusqu'à sa mort sa carrière radio, travaillant notamment pour KLVI de Beaumont (Texas) et se produisant régulièrement dans les clubs locaux. Victime d'une crise cardiaque, Johnny Jano nous a quitté
le 16 janvier 1984 à Beaumont (Texas).

After radio operator beginnings in Eunice in 1955, it records at Goldband
Records of Lake Charles (Louisiana). It passes then to Jay Miller where it
records superb Rockabillies. After these confidential successes, he becomes
Disc-Jockey in Lake Charles and continued until his death his radio career,
working in particular for KLVI of Beaumont (Texas) and occurring regularly in
the local clubs. Victim of a heart attack, Johnny Jano left us in 1984.
