Chanteur Rockabilly US né John Remie Janot, le 14 septembre 1933 à Eunice (Louisiane). Après des débuts radio à Eunice en 1955, il enregistre chez Goldband Records de Lake Charles (Louisiane). Il passe ensuite chez Jay Miller où il enregistre de superbes Rockabillies. Après ces réussites confidentielles, il devient Disc-Jockey à Lake Charles et poursuivit jusqu'à sa mort sa carrière radio, travaillant notamment pour KLVI de Beaumont (Texas) et se produisant régulièrement dans les clubs locaux. Victime d'une crise cardiaque, Johnny Jano nous a quitté le 16 janvier 1984 à Beaumont (Texas).
