Chanteur Rockabilly US né le 1er septembre 1933 à Fiars Point (Mississippi), Harold Jenkins a débuté en 1956 à la Sun Records de Memphis (Tennessee), en essayant d'imiter les intonations d'Elvis Presley. A cette époque, il était accompagné par les Rock Housers. En 1957, trouvant son nom pas assez commercial, il le change pour celui de Conway Twitty en s'inspirant d'une carte routière. Il deviendra par la suite l'un des grands de la Country Music.

US Rockabilly singer born on September 1, 1933 in Fiars Not (Mississippi), Harold Jenkins began in 1956 in Sun Records from Memphis (Tennessee), while trying to imitate the intonations of Elvis Presley.
