Chanteur Rock 'n' Roll US né en 1933 à Concord, New-Hampshire. Gene Maltais a débuté en 1956 et a enregistré un premier single en Juin 57 chez Decca Records. Ensuite il passe chez Regal, mais le succès ne venant pas, il monte son propre show télé avant de fonder son propre label, Lilac Records, puis il s'engage dans la police. Le Rockabilly Revival des années soixante dix lui a donné l'opportunité d'enregistrer 3 titres en Septembre 75.
