SEARCHERS
Groupe Anglais du début des années soixante, encore en activité. Les "Searchers" ont été formé en 1960 à Liverpool par Tony Jackson (ch,bas), Chris Curtis (ch,dr), Mike Pender (gt,ch) et John Mc Nally (gt,ch), pour accompagner le chanteur Country Johnny Sandor. Ils prennent le nom de Searchers après avoir vu le film du même nom avec John Wayne. Ils ont enregistré chez Pye Records puis, chez RCA, Marble Arch et Sire Records.
