Chanteur Rockabilly US né le 22 Août 1928, Jerry Capehart était aussi un manager et auteur de musique et fut un chanteur régulier au Hollywood Jubilee (El Monte, Californie) en 1956. Il  co-écrivit les célèbres titres de rock Summertime Blues et C'mon Everybody avec Eddie Cochran, dont il fut manager. Jerry est mort à Nashville (Tennessee) le 7 Juin 1998.
