Country
singer Shellee Morris began playing with drummer Kevin King when she was ten. By
1987, Twister Alley's lineup was completed with the additions of guitarists Amy
Hitt and Steve Goins, bassist Randy Loyd and acoustic guitarist Lance Blythe.
Producer Mike Lawler, an old friend of Morris, forged an energetic country style
with the band. Signed to Mercury, Twister Alley released their debut album in
mid-1993.
